Bing Maps new APIs in private preview release
News|16 May 2018
Microsoft Bing Maps has announced a private preview release of two new APIs: Bing Maps Location Recognition API and Bing Maps Autosuggest API.
Developers and analysts can use the Bing Maps Location Recognition API to build rich experiences like store specific notifications or coupons, visit tracking, and identify new customer segments based on the types of location users visit.
Bing Maps Autosuggest API is a service built by the Location Intelligence team at Bing Maps. Given a partial query, the service returns a list of suggested entities the user is most likely searching for. Entities are returned for roads, addresses, places and businesses (businesses are currently US only).
To enrol in the private preview program please send your request to: [email protected] or call +44 (0)1364 655 133.
