ASHBURTON – 13 July 2022 – Grey Matter has partnered with security training specialists KnowBe4.
The KnowBe4 platform adds to the comprehensive assortment of cyber security solutions that Grey Matter offers organisations of all sizes.
About KnowBe4
KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, is used by more than 50,000 organisations around the globe. Founded by IT and data security specialist Stu Sjouwerman, KnowBe4 helps organisations address the human element of security by raising awareness about ransomware, CEO fraud and other social engineering tactics through a new-school approach to awareness training on security. Kevin Mitnick, an internationally recognised cybersecurity specialist and KnowBe4's Chief Hacking Officer, helped design the KnowBe4 training based on his well-documented social engineering tactics. Tens of thousands of organisations rely on KnowBe4 to mobilise their end users as the last line of defence.
About the partnership
KnowBe4 ensures organisations have multi-layered cyber security protection in place, integral when threats are becoming more complex and as the data and digital worlds are expanding. Making sure employees are skilled in identifying and avoiding threats, and creating secure passwords is an essential step in the first line of defence.
We are very pleased to be a KnowBe4 partner. For the last few years, Grey Matter has been using the platform to train our own employees and has seen many benefits in upskilling our staff in how to be more aware of the types of threats out there and how to prevent them. Thanks to the partnership, we can now share this solution and help our customers improve their security awareness, and cyber security regulatory compliance.
“There has been a great advance in technology over the past few years with detection by AI now adding further intelligence and reaction to cyber security threats, however, the human element is still the biggest risk. KnowBe4 provides businesses with not only a way of training their users against the evolving Threat Landscape but can actively be used to identify the "gaps" in the fence. We look forward to introducing this as an offering to all our customers.” Scott Harrison, Grey Matter’s cyber security expert.
“This is a very exciting partnership for KnowBe4, and we look forward to working with Grey Matter to deliver our security awareness training and simulated phishing platform to even more organisations across the world,” said Tony Jennings, EVP of international and global channel sales, KnowBe4. “This provides us with endless new opportunities to help organisations better manage the ongoing problem of social engineering. This is only the beginning of a mutually beneficial relationship that will have positive channel outcomes for both organisations.”
KnowBe4 impacts organisations’ human firewall with awareness training that includes baseline testing, user training, and automated simulated phishing attacks for businesses of all sizes to build a more resilient and secure organisation.
