Microsoft Partner Network programme changes
News|by Alanna|17 March 2022
Microsoft has announced an evolution of their Partner Network programmes with the announced changes coming into effect from October 2022.
What's changing?
The Microsoft Partner Network will be known as the Microsoft Cloud Partner Programme, acknowledging Microsoft's prioritisation of its cloud business. Microsoft is replacing partner competencies with solutions partner designations. These new designations will be aligned to six solutions areas that mirror how Microsoft goes to market and can be attained by partners earning points against performance, skilling, and customer success measures. Two levels of designation are available to be achieved: solutions partners and specialist/expert. An updated package of benefits will also be aligned to each designation, with additional benefits for specialisms.
What next?
Sign in to Partner Centre to see how your organisation is progressing towards the new solutions partner designations. Go to the solutions partner page in the membership workspace.
