Azure VM Reserved Instances Now Available on CSP
News|10 May 2018
As of today, Thursday 10 May 2018, Microsoft have announced that Azure Virtual Machine Reserved Instances are available on Cloud Solution Provider (CSP).
What does this mean for you?
If you currently utilise Azure VMs, running them perpetually on pay-as-you-go, then purchasing those Azure VMs with Reserved Instances on CSP with a 1-year or 3-year term can save you up to 40%.
These significant costs savings don’t come at the expense of your flexibility, should your business change:
- You will be able to reassign a Reserved Instance to a different department, or to a whole company, at any time during your 1 or 3-year term.
- You can exchange one Reserved Instance for another and any unused Reserved Instances at the end of your term are applied to a your new term.
- You can cancel a Reserved Instance at any time.
If you would like to find out more about switching from a pay-as-you-go model and purchasing Reserved Instances on CSP and Azure Windows Server VM options, get in contact with our team on +44 (0)1364 654100 or email [email protected].
Please note that this offer is applicable to all VM series except E-series, Av2-series and G-series virtual machines.
