Visual Studio 2019 Preview 1 Announced

During the Microsoft Connect(); 2018 keynote held on Tuesday 4 December, Scott Guthrie announced the first preview of the next major version of Visual Studio: Visual Studio 2019 Preview 1.
This first preview of Visual Studio 2019 showcases faster connections with Git repositories, improved IntelliSense with AI, and easier collaboration with Live Share. This is just the beginning, with every new preview released there will be new capabilities and a refined user experience with the help of your feedback.
In their latest blog on the subject, Microsoft have pinpointed three changes to showcase in detail:
- New and improved start window that has been better designed to work with Git repositories
- Refinements to Visual Studio IntelliCode which include Visual Studio Live Share as a default and new pull requests
- Support for building .NET Core 3 applications
