Securing data on Microsoft Teams
Veeam has announced certified support for Microsoft Teams backup with NEW Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 v6a!
Veeam is proud to be one of the first backup vendors to achieve a Microsoft Teams Backup and Restore Certification through the Microsoft Graph Export API for Microsoft Teams messages.
V6A also contains a number of performance improvements, including:
- Up to 4X faster backup and incremental runs for SharePoint and OneDrive
- Up to 2X faster restores of SharePoint sites with a large number of lists and items
- Up to 3X lower egress costs for a backup copy with Exchange, SharePoint and OneDrive
Please note: Microsoft requires that you use the new API for Teams by 1 October 2022. You can make the switch manually when you are ready to do so. If you want to begin this process now, you can submit your API access request at this link. For more information, read this blog.
