Upcoming Changes to JetBrains Continuity Discounts
News|30 October 2024
From 2 January 2025, JetBrains continuity discounts will no longer apply to new subscriptions.
This change affects all JetBrains IDEs, .NET tools, and the All Products Pack/dotUltimate bundles.
Take advantage of JetBrains continuity discounts on new licences now
This update only impacts new licences purchased after this date. The existing licences and packages will retain their current discount rates.
For example, if you have 100 IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate licences currently with a 40% discount, this discount will continue to apply as long as you continue using these licences. However, no discounts will be applied if you purchase any new licences after 2 January 2025.
If you plan to purchase new subscriptions with the current continuity discount, please do so before 2 January 2025, to take advantage of the existing rates.
How the discount applies to upgrades
Additionally, JetBrains will maintain the discount rate for upgrades from current single IDE licences to the All Products Pack or dotUltimate bundle. This means you can continue to benefit from the same savings when upgrading.
For example, if you currently hold an IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate licence with a 40% discount, you can upgrade to the All Products Pack and get the same 40% discount at any time. This ensures they continue to enjoy valuable savings while enhancing your toolkit. However, please note that this does not apply to downgrades (e.g. from the All Products Pack to a single IDE licence).
