We’ve partnered with UK Charity Moor Trees
News|by Alanna|8 August 2025

We’re excited to announce that we’ve joined Moor Trees’ 10 Million Tree Club, supporting their mission to connect communities, improve biodiversity and combat climate changing by restoring native broadleaf woodland on Dartmoor.
“Situated just a few miles from our UK headquarters in Ashburton, we welcome this opportunity to contribute to the positive environmental impact that Moor Trees is making on our local landscape. Through this collaboration, we’re committed to nurturing and protecting our natural surroundings, thereby ensuring a greener future for our community." - Alanna Bestwick, ESG Leader at Grey Matter
This year we’ve set ourselves the objective of evaluating our carbon footprint and the impact our emissions have on a local and global scale. Back in March 2025, we announced our partnership with Fifty Shades Greener (FSG) – a respected sustainability educator – to help us on our way.
Over the past five months FSG has trained three ESG (environment, social, governance) leaders across all arms of our UK and EMEA business. With a focus on measuring key scope 1,2 and 3 emissions. Our partnership with Moor Trees is just the first step in bringing our resulting action plan to life.
“We’re delighted to welcome Grey Matter as our newest partner in the 10 Million Tree Club and are excited to see this partnership grow in the coming months.” - Zoe Partridge, Fundraising Manager at Moor Trees
Our full emission reduction and improvement plan is due for publication this Autumn.
