Microsoft Bing Maps releases new Bird’s Eye imagery
News|4 November 2019
The Microsoft Bing Maps team have released more high-resolution oblique 45-degree angle aerial Bird’s Eye imagery. This release represents approximately 50,000 square kilometres of new Bird’s Eye imagery spanning 70 cities in the United States.
While Bird’s Eye has always been available in the Bing Maps Web Control and via direct tile access in the Bing Maps REST Get Imagery Metadata API, the imagery is now also available as static maps in the Bing Maps REST Get a Static Map API.
Microsoft will be releasing more Bird’s Eye imagery over the coming months.
