HERE ranks #1 again in Omdia’s Location Platform Index
News|12 January 2021
HERE has maintained their position as the number-one location platform, placing ahead of companies like Google and Mapbox.
Omdia's (formerly Ovum) Location Platform Index is an on-going evaluation of what leading location platforms can do to improve business and community both locally and globally.
Prompted by the recent social and economic challenges facing the globe, HERE has used location technology to help communities tackle the COVID-19 crisis. HERE believes that being the highest-ranked location platform comes with a responsibility to contribute to the well-being of society.
Over the past year, HERE has also expanded their investor and strategic partnership base, grown the HERE Marketplace network and invested in augmented reality projects. Their goal is to keep finding new ways to move businesses forward.
