End of Sales and Support for Adobe Perpetual Licences

Adobe has announced that it will discontinue the sale of Acrobat perpetual licences, Acrobat Pro 2020 and Acrobat Standard 2020, in the Transactional Licensing Program (TLP)  and Cumulative Licensing Program (CLP) buying programs.

Subscription

Adobe and Grey Matter will continue to offer subscription versions of the product in the Adobe VIP, and VIP Marketplace Buying Programs.

End of Sale Dates

The last date for placing orders for Acrobat perpetual licence products in TLP and CLP will be 15 July 2024. Please also note that Acrobat 2020 will reach the End of Support in June 2025.

Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Standard will allow you to benefit from Adobe’s significant investment in the services for Acrobat, including AI Assistant (beta), mobile, integrations into Microsoft, and improved collaboration.

Acrobat Classic

Customers looking for a desktop-only, non-subscription version of Acrobat will have the option to purchase a term licence of Acrobat, named Acrobat Classic, starting on 15 July 2024.

Acrobat Classic is a term licence of desktop software that provides up to three years of paid access to Acrobat software and is available as a one-time, non-recurring purchase. Acrobat Classic does not include ongoing Acrobat product feature enhancements or access to premium Adobe Document Cloud services via web browsers or mobile devices.

We advise you to move to a subscription, however, if for whatever reason you need to move to Acrobat Classic, we can help.
