Strategic Acquisition Deepens Wayside’s Cloud and Services Offerings, Expands Presence in EMEA
Grey Matter and its parent company, CDF Group, have been acquired by Wayside Technology Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTG), to accelerate Wayside’s Cloud marketplace and services proposition, and expand their reseller footprint in EMEA.
“Grey Matter and CDF bring a robust cloud services platform to Wayside and significantly strengthens our position in the EMEA market,” said Dale Foster, President of Wayside. “By utilising Grey Matter’s existing cloud infrastructure, we believe that our cloud offerings are better positioned to meet the growing needs of our partners in both EMEA and North America. Additionally, with the added support of CDF’s professional services division, Cloud Know How, we can make cloud integration seamless for our clients and further build out our team’s technical expertise. This presents a long-term strategic opportunity for us to expand into more value-added services that can deepen our partnership with customers.”
Matt Whitton, Managing Director of Grey Matter, commented: “Wayside’s extensive vendor network and expertise in emerging technologies make them the ideal partner for Grey Matter. Our ISV offerings, cloud platform and services bring additional expertise to Wayside and their infrastructure will enable us to scale our service more widely. The support and knowledge that we offer our customers will not change, it’s still in our DNA.”
