Our Donation to Moor Trees
News|by Kieran Hollingsworth|23 July 2024
In May, we sponsored Microsoft Build 2024, and also had a Partner Showcase page where you could check out our demos and free resources. Download our digital swag bag and view our session for Build, Building a better way to manage Azure costs and achieve optimisation.
Our promise at Microsoft Build
As part of our showcase, we committed to donate to Moor Trees for every download of our Digital Swag Bag. Moor Trees is a charitable organisation that's working in Dartmoor to combat climate change and sustain our environment for future generations.
Having totalled the number of downloads of our Digital Swag Bag, we have submitted a donation of £1,000 to Moor Trees! This donation will support their efforts to restore woodlands and hedgerows, building towards a wilder Dartmoor.
Why Moor Trees?
As our office in Ashburton sits in the foothills of Dartmoor, we feel a strong connection to the area and are proud to support Moor Trees' efforts to rewild and restore Dartmoor's balance between moorland and it's rich wooded valleys. We wanted to give back to our local community, and felt this was a good way to use our platform to enact positive change.
As a company, we work hard to support our people and the planet, so we're excited to invest in the future of Dartmoor in a way that will fight climate change and provide a flourishing natural environment for our employees to engage with and enjoy.
Check out our Microsoft Build page
Our showcase page for Microsoft Build is still available if you would like to check out any the free resources we've featured, including our Microsoft Build session, or download our digital swag Bag.
