IDERA, Inc. aquisition of Sencha to bring strengthened developer tools business

Development, database, and test management tools provider, IDERA, Inc has announced that they have signed an agreement with Sencha, a web application development platform. Sencha will be integrated with IDERA, Inc.’s developer tools division, Embarcadero. Sencha is used worldwide, including 60% of the Fortune 100 companies.
With Sencha, users can seamlessly design, develop as well as test cross-platform web applications made for desktops, smartphones and tablets. Sencha focus on reducing the complexity and cost to develop and deliver web applications; this fits well with the aims of Embarcadero’s agile development tools for their growing community of developers, and provides JavaScript language support to the Embarcadero mix and capabilities such as a powerful Web Framework for RAD Studio.
