Embarcadero Kai competition: Share what you built with Kai and win
Blog|14 July 2026
AI is reshaping how developers design, build and modernise applications – and now’s your chance to show what that looks like in practice.
The Embarcadero × KAI Summer Wave 2026 competition is open. It’s a chance to share how you’ve used Kai within RAD Studio, Delphi or C++Builder to move faster, modernise legacy code or solve real development challenges.
Running throughout summer, the campaign includes monthly giveaways from July to September – plus a final Campaign Super Giveaway to close the programme.
What is the Embarcadero Kai competition?
The Kai Summer Wave is a free-to-enter developer campaign recognising real-world projects powered by Kai – Embarcadero’s AI-driven add-on for the RAD Studio IDE.
This isn’t about polished showpieces. It’s about practical impact.
Whether you’ve experimented with AI-assisted coding, streamlined a workflow, automated a process or modernised a legacy application – what matters is the outcome. Show what you built, how Kai supported you and why it made a difference.
Why enter?
If you’re already working in RAD Studio, Delphi or C++Builder, this is a straightforward way to:
- Showcase your work to the developer community
- Share your experience with AI-powered development
- Gain recognition from Embarcadero
Every valid submission is reviewed monthly. Standout entries are recognised through Super Giveaways, Runner-Up awards and People’s Choice votes.
Selected projects may also be featured across Embarcadero’s blog, social channels and developer spotlight – helping raise your profile and extend the reach of your work.
What can you submit?
There are four categories – each highlighting a different kind of developer success:
Best First Use of Kai
Where did Kai first make a difference? Generating code, fixing bugs or building UI faster – this is about that ‘step change’ moment.
Biggest Productivity Gain
Saved time. Reduced effort. Faster cycles. If Kai helped you work smarter, this is your category.
Most Creative Use Case
Used Kai in an unexpected way? Automation, integrations, new tooling – this is where creativity stands out.
Best Modernisation Project
Refactoring legacy code, updating a VCL app or reducing technical debt – show how Kai helped you move forward.
What can you win?
Each month (July – September), Embarcadero selects:
- 1 × Super Giveaway winner
- 3 × Runner-Ups
- 1 × People’s Choice winner
The Super Giveaway recognises the strongest entry based on impact, creativity and practical value.
At the end of the campaign, there’s also a final Campaign Super Giveaway.
Prizes include:
- The Delphi Legend Package
- DevExpress VCL Full Licence
- TMS All-Access Licence
- Keychron Q Pro Mechanical Keyboard
- Featured blog coverage and social promotion
Additional rewards range from software licences to hardware, gift cards and developer tools.
What makes a strong entry?
Keep it real. Your submission doesn’t need to be complex – it needs to be clear.
The strongest entries demonstrate:
- The challenge – what you set out to build, fix or improve
- The role of Kai – how it supported your workflow
- The outcome – time saved, quality improved or new capability unlocked
- The evidence – before-and-after comparisons, metrics or process improvements
- The story – why it mattered to you or your team
Focus on impact. That’s what sets entries apart.
How to take part
To enter, visit the Embarcadero × KAI Summer Wave 2026 page and submit your story.
Submissions stay open throughout the campaign, with winners selected monthly and new giveaways announced at the end of each calendar month.
Whether you’ve completed your first AI-assisted project, streamlined a repetitive task or tackled technical debt, now’s the time to share it.
Ready to share what you built?
If you’ve used Kai in RAD Studio, Delphi or C++Builder, turn that experience into a story that stands out.
Show what you built. Demonstrate the impact. Gain recognition from the Embarcadero community – and put yourself in the running for monthly and campaign-wide prizes.
Submit your entry today and show how AI is helping you build faster, modernise smarter and solve real-world development challenges.
