Deepfakes, AI threats and the human layer of cyber security
Podcast|9 October 2026
Season six of the podcast is here. We're back for another cyber security-focused season of Grey Matter Talks Tech.
Deep dive into Deepfakes and AI threats
To kick-off this season, host Scott Harrison is joined by ESET’s Cyber Security Advisor Jake Moore to explore how AI is changing the cyber security landscape. From deepfake scams and AI-powered social engineering to the growing need for stronger verification and a healthier security culture, the conversation looks at what these emerging threats mean for businesses and individuals alike. Jake shares practical advice on spotting suspicious activity, reducing risk and building confidence in a world where trust is becoming harder to prove.
