Protect your brand
Spoof emails aren’t just a threat to the recipient. If someone’s impersonating your brand or even senior people within your business, then your commercial reputation is at stake. You could also find that your legitimate emails are being filtered out as spam, never to be read. Not good, right? So you need to protect your brand.
What is DMARC?
DMARC is considered a ‘must have’ for blocking email fraudsters. It works with SPF and DKIM to check email authenticity – and we have the explanation for all those acronyms for you.
From March 2025, DMARC will be mandatory in PCI Data Security Standards version 4.0. DMARC, recommended by the PCI SSC as a future-dated requirement as it protects companies from email-based attacks like phishing. After the deadline, companies processing card data must implement DMARC for robust email authentication.
One of our specialist email security partners, Libraesva, has compiled a useful infographic explaining what DMARC is and why you should have it in place.
