Azure Cost Analysis assessments from Grey Matter
News|14 May 2020
Over the past 8 weeks we’ve been developing additional ways to support our customers as the UK has settled into a new way of working.
One of our most successful initiatives has been our Azure Cost Analysis assessment service which we initially offered out to our CSP customers and received fantastic feedback.
“It’s Grey Matter’s great customer service and extra awareness of ISVs and what they do, need and value that made us move to you guys from our previous CSP last year, thanks for your ongoing support.”
We subsequently provided upwards of 50 Cost Analysis assessments to customers. An example of significant cost savings include:
- Implementing Virtual Machine Reserved instances for a customer saving them £50,000 per year on Azure – one third of their predicated spend
- Making 227 recommendations to a customer which results in £21,5000 in savings per month
What does the assessment involve?
Our Cloud licensing and services team leverage decades of licensing experience and analytics tools within Azure to assess existing Azure subscription models. The result is a detailed recommendation on how you and / or your customers could save money.
