By becoming part of the McAfee Cloud Security Business Unit, the acquisition of Skyhigh Networks will make McAfee a leader in device-to-cloud security.
Skyhigh Networks specialise in offering cloud access security broker (CASB) software. This software protects enterprise data and users across all cloud services, in real-time. This ensures that companies can take full advantage of the cloud, securely. McAfee see this as a great opportunity to help enable businesses on their journey to digital transformation.
McAfee’s 2017 cloud adoption and security report found that 93% of organisations use some form of cloud services; therefore it is important that the data in the cloud is as secure as possible. McAfee want to help to secure access to key capabilities within the architectural control points that matter most to businesses.
“The multi-cloud security management of Skyhigh Security Cloud (Skyhigh), McAfee Cloud Workload Security (McAfee CWS) and McAfee Virtual Network Security Platform (McAfee vNSP) allows administrators to identify and secure critical cloud resources.” View the full press release by McAfee here.
