Microsoft announced the release of Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 at the Build 2016 event. This release provides developers with increased stability in Visual Studio 2015 as well as improvements to responsiveness and performance.
Some of the new features include:
- Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova
- Visual Studio Tools for Universal Windows App Development
- Visual C++
- C# and Visual Basic
- .NET Framework 4.6.1
- Visual Studio IDE
- NuGet
- TypeScript
- Developer Analytics Tools
- Team Explorer
