Microsoft Phone System Direct Routing now generally available!
News|9 July 2018
From 28 June 2018, Microsoft Phone System Direct Routing is now generally available to customers in countries supported by Teams and Phone System, after being in public preview since December 2017.
This is great news for Microsoft customers. With Direct Routing, customers are now able to integrate their telecom provider with Teams to allow users to make and receive calls through the application in many more locations around the world. If you manage your infrastructure on-premise, then employing Direct Routing is an optimal choice for you.
Alternatively, you can still purchase a Microsoft Calling Plan to enable calling in Teams.
If you’d like to find out more about what Direct Routing capabilities in Teams could mean for your business, get in touch by calling +44 (0)1364 654100 or emailing [email protected].
