Increased JetBrains subscription pricing | October 2022
News|by Leanne Bevan|1 July 2022
We would like to let you know about upcoming changes to JetBrains subscription pricing that will come into effect on 1 October 2022.
Since the introduction of subscriptions 7 years ago, JetBrains has not increased the pricing of their IDEs, .NET Tools, or the All Products Pack. During this time, they have introduced new products that have been included in the All Products Pack at no extra cost. They are also one of the few companies that lower the cost by up to 40% when you renew your subscription.
The new prices will affect the IDEs, .NET Tools, dotUltimate, Code With Me Premium, and the All Products Pack, and will come into effect on 1 October 2022.
Transition offer: prepay at the current price for more than one year
For new and existing customers, JetBrains is temporarily changing the maximum permissible renewal period. Both new and existing customers will be able to prepay for their subscriptions to secure the current pricing from 1 July 2022 until 30 September 2022. Commercial customers will be able to buy a 2-year subscription, and personal customers will be able to purchase a 3-year subscription.
Important: Please note that the new expiry date of your subscription will count from the day of renewal, and the price will be adjusted to account for any time you may have left on your current subscription. In other words, if you were to renew today for 2 years, but have 3 months left, the renewal price would be lowered to account for those 3 months. However, your subscription would expire 2 years from now.
