HERE Electric Vehicle Routing available
News|3 February 2021
HERE Technologies has a new Electric Vehicle (EV) Routing feature to optimise both private and commercial EV routing while minimising the number of charging stops and reducing battery charging times, based on the vehicle’s consumption model.
Range anxiety is a key concern for drivers of electric vehicles. Routes often need to take into account the location of a recharge station. HERE EV Routing combines both static and dynamic data to give your EV drivers the certainty they need, by showing charger locations, pricing, number of plugs on offer, and real-time availability.
- HERE EV Routing delivers the most optimal route including charging time
- Trips and charging stops can be planned to take into account both static and dynamic data
EV Routing is a feature of the Routing API built on top of HERE map and is included in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) products.
