Adobe has announced updates to its buying programs, specifically the Adobe Value Incentive Plan (VIP). Here’s a summary of the key points:
Adobe Buying Program Summary
- The VIP Marketplace Buying Program is evolving to enhance the customer and reseller experience.
- Adobe will retire the VIP Buying Program for commercial customers by the end of January 2025.
- By mid-2024, Adobe will stop supporting new VIP contract creation for the commercial segment.
- After mid-2024, all new offers and promotions will only be available through the VIP Marketplace.
- From 1 February 2025, all new and renewal orders for commercial segment customers must be transacted through the VIP Marketplace.
- Education and government segments will continue to be supported in both VIP and VIP Marketplace for now, with more details to come.
Adobe is planning enablement activities throughout 2024 to ensure a smooth transition for customers and advises reaching out to resellers with any questions.
