Microsoft 365 Business now has Conditional Access
News|13 June 2019
Microsoft has announced that Microsoft 365 Business subscribers will now be able to use Conditional Access.
Conditional Access will give businesses more control over what sensitive business data can be accessed by employees from their mobile phones, personal and home devices, as well as what can be downloaded and where the business network can be accessed from. This will provide Microsoft 365 Business subscribers with the ability to enforce granular control on the same level as Azure Active Directory Premium P1 subscribers.
What are the benefits of Conditional Access?
- Protect company assets while enabling employees to be more productive from anywhere
- Enables Zero Trust security, maintaining control over who has access to what, from where
- You can configure existing Azure Multi-Factor Authentication capabilities within Microsoft 365 Business with Conditional Access Policies for enhanced security
Enabling Conditional Access
If you are a Microsoft 365 Business customer you can enable Conditional Access via the Azure Directory settings in the Azure portal. If you’re unsure, get in touch with our team here at Grey Matter and they’ll be happy to help.
