Lift and shift your on-premise SQL Server deployments to the cloud with minimal changes with the release of Azure SQL Database Managed Instances, now in preview.
Azure SQL Database Managed Instances now enables you to take advantage of all the benefits of PaaS with near 100% compatibility for existing SQL Server Database instances.
The days of existing SQL Server deployments not being compatible with Azure SQL Database PaaS due to non-transferrable capabilities like SQLAgent, DBMail and Change Data Capture are gone.
Legacy apps are no longer stuck on-premise!
