Microsoft Office 2019 update
News|8 October 2018
Microsoft Office 2019 is now available for Windows and Mac.
What is Office 2019?
Office 2019 offers on-premises users new features and updates currently unavailable on previous versions of on-premises Office apps. Office 2019 is a one-time release that won’t receive any future feature updates, but is still a great choice if you’re not ready for the cloud just yet.
If you’re now running and older version of on-premises Microsoft Office and want to upgrade to Office 2019 to take advantage of new and improve features, get in touch with our team on +44 (0)1364 654100 or email [email protected].
What about Office 365 ProPlus?
Existing Office 365 subscribers have been benefiting from the features of Office 2019 through the always up-to-date version of the Office desktop apps via Office 365 ProPlus – the cloud-connection version. As over the past three years, Microsoft will continue to add new features to Office 365 ProPlus, monthly, including innovations in collaboration, AI and security.
If you haven’t yet switched to Office 365 and want to find out more, let us know. You can call our team on +44 (0)1364 654100 or email [email protected].
Microsoft will also be updating their Office server products, so expect to see 2019 version releases of Exchange Server, Skype for Business Server, and Project Server in the coming weeks.
