Enterprise Architect 14 now available
News|by Leanne Bevan|9 May 2018
Sparx Systems has announced the release of Enterprise Architect 14 that brings a better modelling experience as well new tools and capabilities.
Enterprise Architect is a pre-eminent modelling and design platform for a wide range of domains and tasks.
This release sees the retirement of the Desktop Edition, meaning that the Professional Edition is now the default entry level edition. The corporate edition remains the same – perfect for Enterprises with large teams. However, there have been some other changes to the editions too: Ultmiate edition has replaced the Business and Systems Editions, adding better modelling, simulation and framework capabilities. Plus the Ultimate Edition brings together everything within the Enterprise Architect family, and is the most cost effective solution for the power user.
There are many great features in this new release, here are just a few highlights.
- Deep support for the Decision Modelling Notation (DMN) language
- New diagram-based “split view”
- New context browser to enable you to focus on a single branch of the repository
